Repotting Plants – INSIDE!

Earlier this year I received what ultimately became a total of 3 plants for a memorial gift, 2 peace lilies from one person, and a basket of 8 assorted plants (including one peace lily!) from my in-laws. After a period of time letting them adjust to their new environment and ensuring that they were doing well and healthy it was time to move them to actual pots. NOTE: The 2 peace lilies were already in “real” posts so those weren’t necessary to replant.

Searching for the “right” color pots with proper drainage, it was time to get gardening gloves, potted plant tools (think garden tools just on a less than 10″ scale), rocks, and soil. Gathering all of this I carefully considered where I was going to do this moving process! That’s when I found a “Plant Repotting Mat”. It has snap-up corners and is made of a light weight, waterproof material. This has changed indoor gardening for me!

The tools worked great, the mat was better than I thought, and all the plants have been happily moved into their new pots and are so much happier!

While there’s a wide variety of mats out there of varying sizes and colors and pots are so dependent on a variety of factors and soil changes based on the type of plant — I wanted to share with you the pack of tools I ordered. They have everything at least I think I should need based on my previous experience! Included is a bag to keep some of them in and/or you can use the round cylinder case.
